Resident Evil Remastered

Resident Evil HD

If you’re bridging your thirties or in your late twenties, chances are you’ve played this game on the Playstation One. If you haven’t played the original game this might be your chance to see the birth of one the most successful game franchises ever.

Resident Evil 1(just to avoid confusion), or Biohazard as it was known in Japan, will be released and remastered for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and finally PC in glorious HD. The game will allow players to select the aspect ratios and will have an updated camera view. Sadly though, the game which had been already released as on Nintendo GameCube was not announced for the WiiU. Capcom says the game will be out in the first quarter of 2015.

Ubisoft Clears The Air With Assasin’s Creed Rogue Trailer

Assasin's Creed Rogue

Earlier last week some people had been bickering over the internet about leaked information on the 2nd Assasin’s Creed game Ubisoft had promised to release this year, this was even prior to E3. Luckily this trailer came just in time to quell the debates, sadly though this game was only announced for last gen.

Assasin’s Creed Rogue will put you in the shoes of Shay Patrick Cormac, an Assasin turned Templar, tasked to hunt down his former brethren. The intriguing story might be the hook in this game as it will provides insight into the perspective of the Templars.

Assasin’s Creed Rogue will be out November 11 this year for PS3 and Xbox 360.

Free games for Playstation Plus in August

I’ve had Playstation Plus since December 2013 and it is one of the best things I have spent my money on as a gamer. While its true that I don’t really play all the games that come out every month (because I have to work), the amount and quality of the games given out for free is amazing.

Watch the video to see what free games PS Plus members will be getting in August. If you don’t want to watch the video here is a summary of the free games you can get for August.

PS4: Road Not Taken and Fez

PS3: Crysis 3 and Proteus

PS Vita: Metrico and Dragon’s Crown

They usually release the games 1 or 2 every week, over the course of the month. So you may have to wait for Dragon’s Crown towards the middle or end of August (like me).

If you are a PS3, PS Vita, or PS4 owner and plan to play games on these 3 devices for a long time then PS Plus is the way to go.
